It's sort of like concentrating on the fact that you have a headache. So, when this time of year rolls around, I can't help but linger on the thought of unrequited love, the only kind that actually exists on the Internet. Thankfully, craigslist lives up to its reputation as a site that has everything by maintaining an entire section devoted to woefully one-sided romances. That place is Missed Connections. Don't get all bent out of shape, champ. The truth is, she is most definitely out of your league, and not just a little bit. She's the majors and you're not even bush-league. No, you're that Over 40 league that gets together for a few games every year down at the local rec center then inevitably falls apart when some guy pulls a hamstring and half the basemen sink into a depression about their divorces. That doesn't mean you need to get all down in the dumps, though. She was wearing all black because she had just gotten back from her husband's funeral and now she's totally damaged goods. You're better off without her.
