Finally I found someone who has got exactly the same problem as we have!

We are students from Germany and we want to launch a webproject.
Without any reason our new registered domain got blacklisted on SURBL JP.
We never sent any unsolicited messages and we will never do.
The website is not even on line yet!
But when it goes online it will be really damaging to our business that Facebook warns users to visit our website just because of SURBL!

Did you get off the list? How can we manage to get whitelisted?? We already wrote tons of mails with the SURBL supporters but they are just sending any random formmails and now they aren't even answering at all!

Sincerely,
Matteo Wacker

Same thing here. I run a very popular website and we never ever send out any marketing emails. Infact, we don't send out any emails - period! Yet, we're somehow on this SURBL thing and it's hurting our reputation quite a bit.

I'm not even sure how facebook is using such a service without properly checking their methods and reliability.

I've sent them a whitelist request a few days ago and received no response at all.

I have had the very same issue. I have a legitmate home based business which the company offered a very nice drawing for a trip. I shared it with a few of my FB contacts (who I do personally know) and to my surprise found that my URL was giving people the the SURBL warning and scaring them away. I sent no emails, I don't do SPAM and sent it to fewer then 20 people friends inbox. Now people think I am trying to scam them with something and I have no idea how to remove it. I think it's awfully unprofessional of Facebook to just stick it on the list without contacting the original owner.
